HOLA!

I'm Sophie — a multidisciplinary designer and UX researcher.

Optimistic about design's potential and inspired by human behavior. I believe design can serve as a tool to foster social change.

For the past seven years, I've consulted clients in healthcare, beauty, education, children's products, finance, advocacy, and politics.

Most recently, my love for design and learning led me to teach UX Research to undergraduate students at Universidad Mondragón Mexico.

I'm currently working as a Freelance Designer and UX Researcher, and I just finished a UX certificate at the School of Visual Concepts (SVC).

I hold an MFA from the Products of Design program at the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York and a BA in Industrial Design with a minor in Graphic Design from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM) in Mexico.

When I'm not designing...

You can find me hanging with my dogs or making stuff: Woodworking, playing with ceramics, experimenting with baking, or learning sashiko stitching.
